Howdy and welcome! My name is Vamsi Sangam, I am a Software Engineer in Microsoft (IDC) Hyderabad. I was studying B.Tech IT 3rd semester in Indian Institute of Information Technology, Allahabad (IIITA) when I started this blog. I started this website to share my knowledge to everyone and anyone who needs it. My dream is to put everything I learned on the web! But I guess it will take time 😛
I was born on May 29, 1996 in Visakhapatnam to a lovely couple, Jaji Sangam and Ravi Prasad. I am proud to say that my elder sister, Smruthi Sangam, is a doctor. My home town, Visakhapatnam, is where I lived most of my life. Almost 17 years to be precise…! Then, I got admitted to IIITA, which is far north in India. I must say, of all the places I visited in India, Visakhapatnam is surely the most beautiful city.
Right from LKG to 10th I have studied in Timpany School. Upto 3 rd grade, I’ve studied under CBSE board, then I shifted to ISCE. My school is one of the best schools in Vizag (Visakhapatnam), should surely be in the top 3. The students of Timpany School have a reputation of speaking good English. Sorry if my English is terrible now, but, believe me, it used to be glorious when I was in school. Now, well, I just re-typed that “believe” word in the last sentence 6 times…! But nonetheless, I am thankful to my school to have given me good knowledge and English. Over the course of my journey many people have inspired me, besides my parents, some of them are –
- Mrs. Rochelle Kumar (My English teacher in Timpany School)
- Mr. Niranjan (My maths teacher in private tuitions)
- Mr. Srikanth Pragada (My Java professor in Srikanth Technologies)
My hobbies include watching Hollywood movies, playing games, roaming out with friends and social networking. But my favourite among them is roaming with friends. Vizag is a beautiful city and it is much more fun with friends. Sometimes I write some horrible stories and cook some weird food too…!
In movies I like watching fantasy, action and sci-fi movies. Some of my favourite movies are, Sixth Sense, Dark Knight, Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Pacific Rim and a lot more. I mostly watch Hollywood movies, because I find them more interesting, and they use very good English (of course, why won’t they…!). I have a sort of weakness for good english. If I hear a person speaking good English, I start to admire that person more or less. I believe good english can melt any person. And another thing that I like about English movies is sometimes they have really awesome motivational quotes…! I like motivational quotes a lot, I have put up some of my favorite below, well, they may not be exactly motivational but they’re good –
“There will be a time when you must choose between what is right and what is easy.” – Dumbledore in Harry Potter
“If you’re good at something, never do it for free.” – Joker in Dark Knight
“I wish the ring had never come to me, I wish none of this had ever happened”.”So do all who live to see such times, but that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that’s been given to us.” – Frodo and Gandalf in Lord of the Rings
“I never thought I’d die fighting side by side with an elf.”.”How about side by side with a friend?” – Gimli and Legolas in Lord of the Rings
“Can a man be brave if he’s afraid?”.”That is the only time a man can be brave.” – Game of Thrones
In games I play mostly role-playing games, like, Elder Scrolls V : Skyrim. When it comes to social networking, it is all Facebook for me, sometimes WhatsApp. My home is in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, India. It is a coastal city, so. I am pretty fond of my beach and that’s where I like to hang out with my buddies.
Speaking about this blog, it will mostly consist of pretty complex Data Structures and Algorithms which are explained vividly with images that I drew myself and examples for which the code will also be given, which is again written by me. Why blog…? Well, it is not an exaggeration to say that today’s education can come at the cost of internet. Internet is considered to be the largest source of knowledge. From school assignments to business applications, the concerned people will always lookup in the Internet for help. My blog is dedicated to provide a helping hand to such people, who are in need of programming knowledge. I try my best to explain the concepts as clearly as possible. I hope my posts will help you with your professional career. If it did, please appreciate my efforts by liking or sharing or recommending my blog to your friends. Have a nice day…!
If you ever need to talk to me, feel free to ping me, fill up the contact form below and send me a message, I will surely reply it via your email within 24 hours (max)…! Or, if you just want to express your views on this page, feel free to comment them. Have a nice day..!☺

Using this site for learning on Tries and other data structures for a month, and only now I realized it was you man xD
Awesome work! Keep it up!
Thanks a lot!! 😀 So glad you find my stuff useful! 😀
Vamsi,
You said, “I was born on May 29, 1996 “. Are you sure or is there any typo? I mean 1996! really? :O How many class you had jumped before joining college 😛
Haha…! It is not a typo… 😛
WOW..!!!
Your blog is simply amazing..!!
But i have a question. How did you learn all that stuff ( Java,C#,HTML,CSS,JQuery, etc ) while you are still in second year of your B.tech( That too in your 1st semester !! Congrats bro !! Seriously your amazing ). Even if we spend our time gathering knowledge about all those pretty complex data structures such as tries and etc ., it becomes really crazy to write that code !! I struggled a lot just for coding AVL-tree basic insertion and deletion operation…..
Maintaining a blog and also performing well in your academics… how do you manage these things?
Thanks a lot for the compliment Aditya…! 🙂 I’m glad you liked my blog…! In my second semester I was given a task of developing a website, so I had to learn HTML and CSS. I learnt it from CodeAcademy. It was very helpful. Then, I learned Java SE, Java EE, and jQuery in my summer vacation holidays after the first year. To put all my knowledge into practice, I developed an Online Exam application too…! And yeah, my knowledge of Data Structures and Algorithms is due to the highly experienced professors of IIITA, to which I am very thankful..! 🙂 … Managing blog and academics, is a challenge, you just need to give time to everything… As they say… “Time for Everything, and, Everything in its Time”… 😉
